History 
​The AIM-4D was built by Hughes Aircraft and saw service with the United States, Sweden, Greece, Canada, Finland and Schwitzerland air forces.

 

The AIM-4D was used on the F4D Phantom, F-102 Delta Dagger, F101/CF101B Vodoo, J35 Draken and Mirage IIIES figthers.

 

The AIM-4D was phased out of service by 1973.
